Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft

The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft is the largest organization for applied research in Europe with 18,000 staff at more than 80 research units, including 60 Fraunhofer Institutes in Germany. We undertake applied research of direct utility to private and public enterprise and of wide benefit to society. For more than 40 years, Brazil and Germany have been partners in science and research. This is reflected in the fact that about one third of all Fraunhofer Institutes are already active in Brazil.
